      Classes even on Saturdays?

    • MrMv 8:53 am on October 17, 2009 Permalink | Reply

It cud have been better if we get 4 days full study and 2 days rest, also its better for me not having breaks between subjects as in 1st trimester. We cud request akersha miss if there is a way to rearrange the timetable.

How to Download the Trimester3 Modules for BIT Batch2

Again, in an effort to be a step ahead, lets view what we are against this trimester.

Entrepreneurship module concerns business concepts in innovation and creativity in producing a successful entrepreneur. I think it will be easier for those who chose business stream in their O’Level studies. I myself did science, so I’m expecting this to be a challenge.

Data Structure module mainly involves programming in C. It is the advanced module next to the Programming module we did in trimester 1. It seems to be a very interesting module.

I don’t know what to expect in the Maldivian National Language module. I didn’t do well in any of the previous Dhivehi Language exams in my life. So this will really be a challenge, again.

Below are the steps you could take to download and have a view of the topics yourself.

    STEP1:
    Visit http://www.oum.edu.my

    STEP2:

Log-in with your user name and password.

    STEP3:
After that, click the links below to view the modules for this semester and download.

    • Entrepreneurship (Currently the PDF files are not downloadable in this version for Maldives. Use this link instead to get the international version till they fix this.)
    • Data Structure (There seems to be no version specialized for Maldives)
    • Maldivian National Language (No link available)

If you face any problems while downloading, let me know.

Study Hard and Have Fun ;D !!!

Trimester 2 Results to be Available at 4:00pm today!

At last, the most difficult day of a trimester has arrived, again.

Today, its not about by-hearting or trying to undestand a difficult concept, but its all about trying to wait calmly till the results are out.

I know its pathetic, yet its how I feel, and I don’t know about you.

By the way, I met Munnim on my way to office and he informed me the time of availability of the  results.

Its not a big deal, at least lets try to think like that. Its just a result of another trimester.

I hope and wish we all get the best results and godspeed to us all.

Stack Operations Illustration, PUSH and POP

Since the diagram in our Module doesn’t seem to be too clear on how it works, so here’s a better diagram.

    Stack Operations PUSH and POP

    • Program Counter (PC) has to move downward in both cases (PUSH or POP), since it will need to move to the next code.
    • Stack Pointer (SP) moves up in PUSH, while it moves down in POP.

Please do not hesitate to correct me if I’m wrong.
